Aloha and Welcome!  Na Hale Studio’s purpose is to provide an inspiring place for enrichment through: dance, culture, music, art and wellness, in order for individuals and the community to thrive; in the spirit of aloha; and in honor of indigenous wisdom and it's ability to nurture people and their environment.  When you’re here, you’re ohana (family)!

We offer a diverse array of education, products and services including:

·         Workshops; Polynesian Cultural Arts, Music, Dance, Metaphysical and Self-Defense available on or off site.

·         Cultural Performance Services; Over 227 years of authentic Polynesian live music, dance & chant.  Hale O Malo Productions, LLC. & Ocean Rush music available on or off site.

·         Series Programs; Connect and create social and environmental awareness with a combination of classroom time, field trips and volunteer work for multi-faceted learning immersion.

·         Community Events; Open to the public events for fun and enrichment.

·         Products; Unique and exotic finds, fine handmade items, and brands featured by our local in house artists and vendors; as well as environmentally friendly wellness products.

Returned Checks:  In addition to Total Cost of products or services, a $35.00 Fee will be charged + any additional fees incurred by financial institutions. 

Refunds:  There are no refunds, exchanges or makeups of missed classes, except for Class Cancellations due to Inclement Weather.

Inclement Weather:  Class Cancellations shall be posted on facebook.com/nahalestudios.com at least 4hrs prior to class start time.  Students or Student Guardians shall also be notified via text message.  If a class is cancelled due to Inclement Weather, class will be made up by adding missed time to remaining classes, or an additional class shall be added to the session.

Musician, Ray Liban                                                                            As a pianist, singer/songwriter, Ray has carved out his own unique sound, always experimenting and alert to the subtleties in music. This ability has driven his passion and creativity ever since. His style of music spans many genres including, jazz, pop, blues,funk, reggae and R&B. His playing can be heard with many different musical projects and bands including Oceans 3,Ocean Rush, Hale O Malo,The Dog House Charlie Band,, The Liban Brothers as well as his  own original music.

Native Hawaiian Artist, Ricky Kealoha Pa; works on display and available in house at Na Hale Studios for purchase

Kealoha was born on the Island of Moloka'i in 1951.  He spent most of his childhood growing up on the Island of Guam.  After graduating from The Kamehameha Schools in 1969, he went to the California College of Arts and Crafts on Oakland, California.  Circumstances forced him out of college and basically put his art career on hold until 1983.  It was at this time that he became involved in the contract furniture business and worked extensively in Asia with various furniture manufacturers.  During his tenure in Asia, he became aware of the wood batik process and plunged right into learning everything he could about it.

Kealoha's subject matters are as diverse as his nationalities.  Being of Hawaiian, English and Chinese decent, his artwork also reflects this diversity.  From Tropicals to Orientals and contemporary graphics, his works are surely colorful and appealing to many.  His works have been exhibited at various eateries throughout Hawaii including; Sam Choy's, Nick's Fishmarket, Verbano's, Jarron's, Orson's Seafood, Wong's Okazuya, Isana's, the Honolulu Club, Pizzazz, Da Kitchen, Gordon Biersch and many others.  His artwork has been sold and shipped to collectors in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, Canada, Guam, Saudi Arabia, the continental United States and here in Hawaii.
